I can't wait to read it. Couldn’t wait to start it and came brand new, nothing wrong with the book it self! There was so much going on that I literally do not know what to digest first or which gutted me more.

That ending like. Remember when I started this series I said I wouldn’t do all the books individually? With this third chapter, Maas expands the plot of the saga in an unimaginable way, making the first two volumes of the series simple introductory novels.

Dorian raging the hell out. I wasn't on team romance but all the, I claim you, sign me up. Dorian, his character has no real impact for me, literally until the last few chapters I didn't care much about him, but he came alive then. BUT, I did come around to him in the end.

That being said, I LOVE where this story takes us to! And when I first read it I was curious what was going to come next, with any SJM book there are twists, turns and surprises throughout, and that ending leaves you reading to dive into the next book. It’s the one that Maas needed to write to get it away from the original assassin/cinderella type tale, and weave it into a thicker, more complex story. I honestly do not think I can and am very intrigued to get into the next one.

Maas really knows how to write an ending that absolutely guts the reader and leaves them wanting more. )There is a lot to be said for the story and the changes that come as a result of this one, but at the same time I still kind of feel like it’s a filler book. What changed my mind was the first time Celaena was burning her powers and he found out about her history. There was part of me considering whether I even wanted to carry on reading because it just felt so different and wasn't engaging me as the previous book had.
