The media could not be loaded. I contacted product support and they refunded the price of the red dot finder to let me buy another. 3 large boxes and the build quality is evident from first opening. That power and clarity of the optics is outstanding.

I was worried about how shipping delicate optics would be, however shouldn’t have worried as the shipping boxes have bespoke foam inserts that I can see me using for some time. 25 Inch Universal Barlow and T-Adaptor and a moon filter. Worked a treat and my alignment was so much better. Everything else about the telescope is great there’s a little lens holder that fits on the mount and help keep everything sturdy.

Later I was able to go out to a better spot ( bortle 5 ) and it was excellent, and I was able to see the double cluster, Orion Nebula and andromeda galaxy a lot better. The planets are easy to see, you can see the belts of Jupiter and its moons, and the rings of Saturn easily. The andromeda galaxy can NOT be seen at all in light polluted places. Great quality portable telescope 💫

One of the retaining screws for the Star Diagonal is missing but I'm pretty sure I can find something that will fit. Even though there was a polar alignment option, it was really hard to do since I am living quite close to the equator in Hong Kong and the mount twists into a really weird position when tracking. First things first the best advice I read was to practise setup in the day time, getting comfortable with the weight and size.

I also brought a generic LPR filter which helps somewhat in revealing dim objects and filtering out the light pollution. This is the best telescope I’ve ever had the pleasure to own. You will pretty much only use the moon filter, 13, 17, and 32mm eyepieces.

My only addons so far have been a dew shield and an 8mm-25mm Celestron zoom eyepiece that is great value for money. Great telescope for a full year now.

In the first few months I viewed only from the city, which was a bortle 9 scale. I've also ordered Celestron NexYZ Phone Scope Adapter, Celestron 93640 1. The telescope arrived in two boxes and was packaged well. The goto function was really helpful in finding objects especially DSO's.
