Before I begin the review, I want to say that everything about these is a 5/5 - design, fit, comfort, audio, notice cancelling. I like the mesh pocket on the outside of the case. I'll post a separate review of whether I think the change was worth it, but in terms of sound quality and noise cancelling these are much better than the earbuds.

The toss up was between the industry standard Bose QC35ii and the Sony WH-1000. The only thing I'm disappointed with is that one headphone began to degrade to a point where it wasn't so much surround sound as it was slightly-to-the-right sound. I have noticed a very very faint background noise from the noise cancelling when nothing is playing but I’m really straining to hear it and am being unnecessarily picky.

The bluetooth connection was great although it was annoying that I could only pair these to one device at a time. ) devices in its memory, of which 2 can connect simultaneously.

Vocals warm and rich, Depth of bass absolutely present. Cyberman rating 8/10Beats Solo - despite small cups these are at least as noticeable as the Sonys.
