They said I should contact the retailer I purchased it from as as for a refund or a new card. I tried it with both an old IEEE 1394 Firewire card and a Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme sound card. But once it was delivered, I was fascinated with the build quality: the metal shines, the colors are vibrant, and it looks like a solid piece of equipment. Time will tell if they works all the time.

At least, it detected the PCI cards I put in it and they functioned for their purpose. My old 1212 emu works perfectly, which saved me quite a bit of cash to upgrade. Tried two different PCI cards in three different PCs in 1x , 4x and 16x slots and never could get a new device to show in the device manager. .

It worked like a charm with out any hick ups or glitches the adapter card fit perfectly with the HDSP PCI card and The Drivers installed with out any problems. Amazon sent me a replacement that I got the next day.
