Tasting Notes Nose: Orange chocolate, with Christmas spices, lots of dried fruit and toasty oak. Double Gold Winner at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirit Awards The purity of the water means that Arran can create a clean, sweet dram which is entirely natural and unadulterated. Finish: Long, powerful with a touch of pink pepper, hazelnuts and toasted oak. 70cl Using the finest sherry casks, there are developed flavours of sweet spice and oak. In Scotch terms this is a young distillery with production starting on 17th August 1995. Palate: Loads of juicy sherry influence, with chocolate-dipped cherries, raisins and a touch of caramel. Statuesque and elegant. The area is home to some of the purest water in all of Scotland, every drop of Arran Single Malt starts its life as rainwater which pools at Loch na Davie in the beautiful hills behind the distillery.
