I like it so much I am thinking of getting a newer one. THE 1968 DAIRY BOOK OF HOME COOKERY 1968,WAS GIVEN TO ME AS A WEDDING PRESENT,IT WAS REVISED WITH THE 1978 EDITION,WHICH I BOUGHT FROM MY MILKMAN,IT IS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST COOK BOOK ON THE MARKET,AND EVER PUBLISHED,I WOULD NEVER BE WITHOUT MINE.

I must sa that although I have lots of cookbooks I keep going back to this time and again, mine is a bit dog eared through continual use. I HAVE RECENTLY MANAGED TO BUY A LOVELY CLEAN COPY, AS MINE WAS WORN OUT FROM USE. I have included a photo so you can see how well used it is.

The lemon meringue I made countless times and they turned out perfectly, making me look a competent cook. My all time favourite, I didn't buy from Amazon my husband was a milkman and he used to bring home the dairy diaries which I ordered.
