About this deal
Given sole access to family papers and other protected material, Janet Morgan's definitive biography unravels Agatha Christie's life, work and relationships, creating a revealing and faithfully honest portrait. Paperback in fine condition. Tanning to copy. Her book will intrigue those who read detective stories and delight all who are interested in the nature of a writer's life and extraordinary success. Bumped corners. Over the three decades since her death on 12 January 1976, many of Agatha Christies readers and reviewers have maintained that her most compelling book is probably still her least well-known. Creased spine and bumped ends. But although she lived to a great age and was prolific, she remained elusively shy and determinedly private. Agatha Christie’s ‘most absorbing mystery’ – her own autobiography. From early childhood at the end of the 19th century, through two marriages and two World Wars, and her experiences both as a writer and on archaeological expeditions with her second husband, Max Mallowan, Agatha shares the details of her varied and sometimes complex life with real passion and openness.

Super happy to have found this autobiography in its original version. Bought second-hand. Agatha Christie - An Autobiography.
This book arrived very quickly from the seller and as described was in excellent condition for a book published in 1990. Indicated good condition. The cover is different. It is even better than the one shown.
