It was the best thing ever but the best thing ever is when you get a surprise when you get it This book has held up and is still in great condition, and my 8 year old does bring it out a lot. Shipped on time for my younger sister’s birthday (I used two day shipping) she LOVED it.

Came in as expected 10/10. Book itself is hardcover and very nice. I was a little disappointed to later realize that it’s not simply a pretend book of spells but instead, a book with some spells and lots of commentary from Jay, Carlos, Mal, and Evie. My 7-year-old daughter is obsessed with all things Descendants and so I thought this would be an awesome Christmas gift for her.

It’s sometimes difficult to follow along and overall, just not exactly what I was expecting. Book is in Great Shape and Daughter Enjoys The Book. My daughter is very happy. Each character ‘writes’ in a specific colors and so their commentary is scattered through all the pages of the book.

She still has fun with it and has read some of it, but I think that she too was expecting a pretend play ‘spell book’ and this fell short of her expectations. Omg! I got this today and it's the most evil book (and the most cool one) book i love it so much!
