Once my hair is wet, I squeeze a small amount of this into the palm of my hand and apply to my hair. ! The scent is quite long lasting too - quite a fruity feminine perfume smell.

Directions for use are very straightforward, which is to apply to wet hair and leave for 2 minutes before rinsing. The shampoo bubbles nicely and covers my hair in a dense lather.

At this point I choose to keep looking up to avoid any staining to my face, which seems to work. The bottle tells me everything I need to know about this product, which is; it is the cool brunette blue toning shampoo, it instantly erases red and orange tones from brunette hair, it has repairing Opti Plex technology, it is a 250ml amount and once opened should be used within 12 months. Be sure to use the product with ham shoes and remove stains on the skin after application.

However, I didn't use the product like a classic shampoo, but worked it into dry hair and let it work for about 15 minutes. The bottle design looks fresh and appealing.

. Please please learn from my mistake and read the small print on the back which says ‘wear gloves’!
It would be more noticeable a difference if my hair were a shade or two lighter to begin with but I’m happy with the effect. Overall, this is a fantastic shampoo that is a very bright blue but it is easy to use and does work. Yes, it’s quite blue and my hands did go a little blue tinted but it washed off entirely by the time I got to the shower gel. My bath looked like a smurf massacre.
