I can't speak to how long-lasting it is because I only wore it for a short time. I did the face in the pic (which was essentially a bunch of dots), and was surprised that used up over half the pencil.

I love this pencil and it has great color. My hair is in a short pixie and while they wouldn't work on BIG spots, for those small areas where a little scalp shows, works a treat! 10/10 I would recommend this!
