Clean and precise. hints of spice mingle with soft heather notes, culminating in a whisky as heart-warming as Scotland's winters are bleak. Nose: Classic Dalwhinnie aromas of flowers, honey and green fruit – apples and fresh pair. From the freezer the finish is more about the spicy cinnamon and peppercorn heat that's found on the palate at room temperature. The Dalwhinnie distillery is one of the highest distilleries that are in Scotland. Smooth with sweet malt, raisins and dark chocolate. 70cl Winters gold is made with spirits that are only distilled in the winter months, and it is even suggested that you try this whisky straight out of the freezers- where the fruits and spice flavors become even more apparent,  Alcohol Serving Suggestion/Preparation & Usage Best served straight from the freezer

Haven't tried it out of the freezer and probably won't. However,The box had a few scuff marks on it, and when i took the bottle out it looked like it hadnt exactly been taken care of. So its going to look like i found it whilst walking the dog. Delivery fine, pricing fine, Amazon Prime fine, but unfortunately the box lid was ripped and now too late to return and reorder in time for Christmas as this is a gift.

Rich and honeyed, will be another regular in the cupboard! Dalwhinnie 15 is one of my go to whiskies and this NAS offering was one I've been meaning to try for ages. Delivery was quick, which i was very happy with.

I bought this as a gift for a birthday present. Don't like ice or water in my whisky but each to their own! Very similar to the 15 there's no mistaking the distillery. Popped up on a lightning deal that was too good to miss and I'm delighted.
