The F800 can be easily placed behind the rear view mirror in your car. Like with other products in the range, you have to download the file and upload it on the microSD card to take advantage of this functionality. Having seen the x2 side by side as a comparison.

These files are stored in a separate folder on the microSD card. In this modern age where drivers pay more attention to their smartphone than to others on the road, it’s a smart choice to have a dash cam in your car.

The F800’s camera mounts very close to the windshield to reduce distortion, and swivels in the vertical with a range of about 90 degrees. The GPS also allows for the speed to be recorded in the video.
If it's installed crooked, you may get unreliable alerts from the driver assist functionality depending on the situation. I guess you can call them BDF, or Bad-Driver Features.
Its color scheme and size difference to the F770 gives it a far more modern appearance. My main concern having seen the F770 was that although smaller than most dash-cams, it was still big enough that it could potentially affect the auto-headlight light sensor function in my Audi A6 rear view mirror. Personally, I prefer to have it disabled, mostly because these videos are recorded for public sharing and I have no idea which one works best for the review, but it can come in handy if your shouting at your kids for example and don’t want to upload the video to social media for example and have people comment on this or your choice of music that you are listening too Bad-driver tech and to expand on the functionality section (Not yet tested these yet)The F800 provides a number of “Advanced Driver Assistance System” or ADAS features such as lane departure and collision warnings, as well as a sort of departure warning. Truth is you shouldn’t be straying from your lane, tail-gating, or zoning out on your cell phone at the light.
