The double-aging in both ex-bourbon & ex-Grand Champagne Cognac casks leads to a smooth, creamy style of rum rich in exotic sugar cane & a big hit of toasted coconut & banana, enhanced by more complex aromas of cocoa, candied orange & cigar box. West Indies Rum Distillery, Barbados. The drink was trademarked in the 1980’s so that . Vibrant, full flavoured Caribbean rums, finished with French finesse. The result is a well balanced rum with a remarkably long finish, with a palate of chocolate, banana, coconut and mango. Maison Ferrand Owner and Master Distiller, Alexandre Gabriel works closely with distilleries across the Caribbean and America's crafting rums, they are left to age in warm Caribbean cellars for the initial part of their life. To honour Alexandre Gabriel's 20th anniversary as Master Blender. Ordered a bottle of Bruichladdich Islay Barley. During the secondary process, the rums are exported to Cognac where they undergo a series of age old Cognac making techniques.

It was burning and it was simply inedible, no signs of sweetness and softness, more like the gas from the gas station. It’s faultless. If you are going to spend that sort of money on a rum, you should at the very least expect that it’s going to be far more superior, than all the generic rums currently being sold at the moment.

There isn't much to add to the hundreds of reviews here! If you like this plantation here, you should definitely try the rather unknown, tasteful, but also very well comparable rum “Ron Millonario Solera 15 Reserva Especial”!

I, too, only have the batch CE 220719 with a different time (09:47), which was labelled as a good bottle in another review. This rum is a blend, that is, a blend of different old rum varieties, which have ripened differently!
