There's not much more I can say without giving spoilers for the Atlas Six, so I'll keep my review generic. There’s an interesting side-plot in this book, a consequence of Libby’s disappearance. The plot is complex at times and it is a book to savour rather than read quickly to avoid confusion or miss critical information.

I'd recommend it to all urban fantasy fans. I liked everything.

Throughout the book I enjoyed watching the dynamics of the group change as they started to forge relationships and unexpected alliances to rectify the events from book one. The characters themselves are also changing as they learn more about themselves and each other; I know this happens in all good stories but their flaws and preconceptions were so strong and sometimes aggressive that the changes make magical sparks fly.
Read, Read, No Sleep, Repeat
It as folded back on itself. The characters are not the traditional heroic people one encounters in fiction as most exist in the realm of morally grey, but as I learned more about them and their pasts, I started to understand their actions and warm to them. when I opened the package, the cover was folded as seen in the photos.
It ends on another climatic cliffhanger and I'm so invested in the characters that I can't wait to see how the series ends in book three. As with its predecessor, one of my favourite aspects of this book was the intricate and original world building and Blake brings this to life with a flair of sophistication. . As well as the original narrators from book one, we hear from some additional characters this time and I particularly enjoyed hearing Gideon's point of view as I found him and his relationship with Nico intriguing.
