How does Gaviscon Advance Mint Chewable 60 Tablets work?

• Has no effects on ability to drive and use machines
• Treats symptoms of heartburn, acid reflux and indigestion
• Adults should take 1-2 tablets after meals and at bedtime.
• Care should be taken when treating patients with hypercalcaemia, nephrocalcinosis and recurrent calcium containing renal calculi.
• There is a possibility of reduced efficacy in patients with very low levels of gastric acid.
• Children: not recommended.
• Contains sodium alginate
• Contains aspartame so should not be used in phenylketonuria.
• Treatment of children under 12 years of age is not recommended, except on medical advice.
• Review if symptoms do not improve within 7 days.
