The Christmas Escape isn’t your typical Christmas love story that you’ve heard a million times before, it’s so much more. I liked the multiple POV’s that flitted between Christy, Alix and Robyn - I’m always worried I won’t be able to keep up, but this wasn’t a problem in the slightest.

This was such a sweet book that gave me all of the feels but it wasn’t sweet to the point of being sickly. Friendships that have lasted that long are often the ones that we forget to nurture. Christy and Alix reminded me that even the longest standing relationships need work and that just because circumstances change, the love shared within a friendship doesn’t have to. However she tries hard to make the most of the time she has with Holly who is so excited about the deep snow and the sled dogs.
