Some said "A lot of surface noise" or "Sounds great" or the Stereo version "adds more space/depth" or "misses the mark" or "Bad sibilance in spots" ect. Second copy is perfectly flat, very little surface noise, the stereo has a nice separation (could be partially due my speaker locations/direction) opening up the sound stage, the bass sounds warm (considering the source but could also be my sub rounding out the lower frequencies), and I am very pleased with my copy.

I researched many reviews here, Discogs, ect. If you are new to jazz you cannot go wrong with this fabulous album by Miles Davis. Every track on Kind of Blue is beautifully done and all are absolute exemplars of perfection, though (if pushed) my favourite track would be the final track Flamenco Sketches (#5), by which time you are floating through the air with the album’s sublime melodies. If you love this record, the mono reissue is a necessity not an "add-on" option!

Like Citizen Kane in film and Fitzgerald’s Gatsby in literature, this album is up there right at the very top. Lots of controversy around these WaxTime pressings but it’s really hard to argue about the quality of what you get here.

, was dirty with black vinyl dust (cleaned), 1st play through pop click pop (cleaned again), 2nd play click pop click, and I returned. Sound is clean and engaging.

. It looks cool, but original would have been better. I never leave reviews but thought I ought to on this occasion. Saw a bunch of mixed reviews for this version of Kind of Blue.

Only downside is the cover image not being original (due to copyright). Vinyl version: Columbia – CL 1355, Columbia – 88883761031 see pictures. One day, however, they might and some albums now come very close to doing so, like Kamasi Washington’s recent album: The Epic. to find the greatest vinyl bang for my buck.

Only a handful of albums come close to this one, but they still haven’t knocked it from its pinnacle of pure pleasure and excellence. My first copy had a center warp, not horrible but.
