Chrome pigment powders work great over any colour gel, the end effect colour will change depending on what base colour gel you apply. The quality of the gel and lamp you are using all have an effect on the finish of the chrome pigment, only use high branded products. Had one of these for years but it eventually broke. Never had that once with my old one. It’s exactly the same just newer and shinier but I was really disappointed to see the knob that turns the light on and off had already come apart.
). Knew I wanted the same kind so found it here on amazon (although paid more on here than I did 4 years ago at boots!
