I did a smaller tree yesterday and it clears rhododendron and stuff easily. So far, so good. Hi.

Purchased this as just the tool as plenty of Ryobi batteries and tools in hand. This is an absolutely essential upgrade over the 2ah or smaller batteries included in most starter sets. So much so that I reduced the larger limbs.

The built in power gauge is really convenient too. This doesn't come with a battery or a charger but I already had some Ryobi tools so this made sense. This 5Ah battery was on promotion at around the same price as the 2.

I recently had a tree felled but wanted to cut it up into logs for my wood burner. For small work around the garden, it's easy to use and copes well. High draw activities such as cutting with an angle grinder used to leave me charging half way through cutting a single pipe with the 2ah.

I bought this to clear the end of our garden that's very overgrown. The picture above took 1, 4 amp hour battery (actually had another 6 cuts after this)No More spilling petrolno more putting my shoulder out trying to start petrolno more wondering if petrol will startno more going to garage to fill up petrol suppliescuts through the same stuff as my old petrol one with ease, easier in fact, lighter weight, instant power.

This 5ah barely even notices. I’ve tried un-branded copies previously but they didn’t last, whereas my Ryobi One+ batteries just keep going. I needed a battery saw to use in places with no electric because I'm not a fan of petrol saws. I thought it might be a little bulky, but (although a fraction heavier) it’s the same size as my 4Ah batteries.

Needed to pollard a lime tree. Easy to assemble and use.
