Women criticising other women for how they bring up their children, when of course there isn’t a one size fits all approach to raising kids. If you have a relatively ‘hands off’ approach and don’t mind your baby sleeping in it’s own room then this book is for you. It’s sad reading the reviews for this book on here.

I really, really rate it highly. I can’t thank her enough! Yes this book and approach isn’t for everyone but that doesn’t make it wrong, and the comments about it being child abuse or cruel is frankly ridiculous. I loved this book, and my happy and healthy son has been on the plan from day one - and he has been safely and contentedly sleeping through the night since 10 weeks - without a hint of CPS needing to be involved.

Alison is straight forward, no nonsense and gives brilliant insight from her experience.
