Solution for gym floor scratching - order this scratching post, put it in the middle of the basement gym and give the suspect cat a scratching target. Of course, one of my two cats thinks the new EVA flooring is a giant scratching mat. I'll weight the base so it's not tip -prone.

So much cat furniture and toys soon looks a mess as you can see from my picture! in addition to that the top of the scratcher has just a small block on the top and I think they sell more and hit five stars, if they had like a little cushion up top so a cat can sit on there or some type of toy on top. -Tall enough for even a "long" cat. It fits the contemporary look of my basement gym, the color is a perfect match, the build quality is excellent and both my cats are using the post already.

The King of scratch post! I've bought other scratching posts that have really cheesy carpet like material or lame sisal rope on them and they suck. This cat scratcher is big! Pictured is our hefty girl who has bent previous posts - this is so sturdy so she won’t be able to bend this one!
