When I could connect the speed was often less than 0. The range isn't huge, perhaps 20-30 metres, but cars are sometimes parked between the shed and the house mesh system, absorbing much of the signal. The best features is the chip set as it has extra features such as Monitor mode and packet injection support.

The media could not be loaded. I used this to extend the range on the wifi from a Raspberry Pi Model B Rev 2 that runs in my shed powered from a solar-charged 110 Ah leisure battery. 5 Mbit/s.

Product works great with Linux super easy to setup and works fine on windows 10 too. I needed a separate network adaptor to use within Kali Linux that also monitored traffic and thus was recommended. Product also came in legitimate boxing.

It was really good like I expected

I would prefer it to come with Micro USB but using Mini is no problem. 10. I have a RPI in a shed as a security system and power controller, it has been running for over a year, but the onboard wifi is a little flaky due to it being outside the house and signal having to penetrate the house wall. It is well built, decent moulded case.

The unit has a bright blue flashing LED which would be a bit irritating if it was always in line of sight, but not an issue in the shed. I have this paired with a "Alfa 9Dbi Wifi Booster Sma Omni-Directional High-Gain Screw-On Swivel Antenna" which makes it a powerful WiFI adaptor that has very good range.

I have this hooked up to a Raspberry Pi running Kali and it does everything I expect from it. Highly recommended. 17+ #1403) and I now get a very consistent ping to the router and a very reliable 8-10 Mbit. Other wifi dongles had worked intermittently or not at all.
