The light is great, and it looks awesome. Overall, this is a well made watch, keeps time very well, the alarm and stopwatch are handy along with the hourly chimes if you need them.

In my view, the W-86-1VQES has some updates, not least of which is a superbly effective, full screen back-light compared to the dear old F91's tiny green LED that hides in a corner of the display. No, I don't get it either, which makes my conclusion a simple one to reach:Buy a W86 whether or not you already have a much loved, slightly care worn example of its sister watch in your collection.

The strap is just enough to tie to a big wrist like mine. It’s super budget friendly for its retro look and design, fully waterproof if used outdoors in the rain, and has the basic features needed for daily use such as alarm and stop watch. Then there's the rated water resistance; fifty metres / five atmospheres compared to the F91w's thirty metres / three atmospheres.

I chose the W-86, an improved version of the F-91W, with slightly larger dimensions, backlighting & waterproof at 50m. This was a great price and has the best backlight of any casio ive had before. Also to add the watched strap is very adjustable and will defiantly fit any wrist size.
