I don’t want to comment too much in fear of giving anything away but needless to say that the story has all the classic Paige Toon ingredients; loveable main characters who you find yourself rooting for from chapter 1, a great supporting cast of characters, a will they, won’t they get together sizzling chemistry and skill fully woven in to this are some very serious issues dealt with sensitivity and compassion. Next he irritated me with how back and forth he was with Hannah.

Having never been to either, Paige writes descriptively so you can imagine the settings, and the story if full of love and secrets, but also making new friends, trust and learning to love and accept yourself. Paige Toon is such an incredible writer. The sub plots with art exhibitions and weddings tie in nicely to the story and quite honestly, it was a joy to read. It was the perfect escape from lockdown.

Hannah tells him she doesn’t judge him as she uses sex in a similar way and that she promises not to sleep with him. I laughed, I cried, I gushed, I cried happy tears. At first, Sonny irritated me with his "I know I'm good looking" attitude. She's written it in such a way that she gets the importance of the subjects across and really allows you to understand how each person is feeling but it's still light with the perfect amount of romance.
