Give the bag a good shake, this will help to evenly distribute the compost, and make sure any compacted lumps are broken down.

Had some great results in these last year, grew some crazy big trusses in them, in conjunction with the hozelock grow bag waterers, I'll be buying some more soon, I just wish they didn't cost so much
