Some builders will be aggravated by the large number of Maersk stickers that have to be individually lined up on the containers---hope you have a steady hand! Interesting color palette and a few unique pieces are nice for your Lego stash if you decide to dismantle the ship later. It's sturdy enough to handle and play with if you like, but if not just sit back and admire it! Lego Maersk sets are very collectible and this model is already "retired" so value has already gone way up (original Lego price was pretty reasonable at a bit over one hundred pounds).

When the ship is complete, it is a lovely display piece. The 1518 pieces are in numbered bags corresponding to the 3 parts of the build: the hull and main body of the ship; the fence racking for the containers and assorted deck gear; the containers themselves.

Find this model a worthy bookshelf, ledge, or set it on the mantle above the fireplace. Even if you're not a Maersk fanatic, you still have to appreciate the sight of a giant container ship like this one.

This scale model of the massive real thing is a neat keepsake to display, and a great addition to your own Lego City harbor scene. Assembly isn't difficult, although the last section with the containers is a little tedious.
