However, after some other modifications to the camper, I decided to remount the 3 directly to the camper's frame and add the 4th as well. For the price, these things are awesome! Also, I do the same with these in the winter - use them to prop the trailer up so the tires are off of the ground.

The front ones are perfect in stabilizing the trailer when parked, taking some of the load off of the tongue/hitch. Mounting to the frame was definitely the best way to go, and for winter storage of the camper, I even extend all 4 jacks enough to prop the tires completely off of the ground - I bought 4 more bolts to fit into the holes on the stand extensions to keep them from slipping due to the extra weight of snow.
