This stuff is fantastic! It grew a bit slower than expected, but it's worth noting that we were still having cold nights and frosts this year, but it's definitely growing. I sprinkled this onto patches (and added some smart lawn seeds) It didn’t work overnight, but a few weeks later, the patches were gone.

I raked the patches, removed the moss, added this stuff, then covered with compost soil. Had used After Cut All in One three weeks prior (7th May) which had killed all the weeds but left many bare areas so had concerns the seed might not germinate due to leftover weedkiller (product advises 4-6 week wait).

Quick delivery was appreciated. I tried this one two of the larger patches. Must water every day for 2 weeksThis is the resultIt will work with only one layer of seed but if you use 2 layers with potting compost it will grow more aggressively and with a thicker growthAlso I noticed the tub doesn’t go very far so if you’ve a few patches then get the 3.

Patch was filled in on 26th of June and now on 16th July it’s looking full and lush! 6 kg pack as it’s better value. The miracle grow killed the moss and made scarifying much easier and after a week I added the patch magic to the bare areas. We spent hours prepping each little patch and the hubby has been dutifully watering it whenever the colour changes (can see it dry) - which is pretty much twice a day at the mo.

Sprinkle on seed evenly until covered4. Only negative is that you don't get much in a pack , would require 3-4kg of product to cover a 35 meter square area where as 1kg bag of high-quality seed would easily do the whole lawn combined with loosened top soil. We have noted the local birds are less likely to steal this mix rather than just plain seed. We have no complaints!
