By the way, if you're expecting (as I was) to be spending time aboard the train mentioned in the title, I'm afraid you're going to be disappointed because it features only very briefly at the beginning of the book. Excited to meet her grandmother, Vicky decides on a trip to Marrakech and even invites her cousin Bea to come . Problems arise in Morocco and the group of women become involved in dangerous situations, more of Vicky’s family then come out to meet her and hope to help.

The Years of Lead were known to be oppressive and there were large amounts of civil unrest and human rights violations. Now look at her.

Edgy and anxious. I loved reading Night Train to Marrakech.
