I prefer using non-shaded goggles because I prefer full visibility whether it be in the pool or the ocean. Overall, I'm pleased with these for this unconventional purpose. They are a well-known brand and have made some great goggles, but this pair didn’t work out for me. So, as a contact wearer I’m pretty excited these fit so well.

Now the big question will be, will they hold up? Their suits are among the best. They do have a slight fisheye effect, but nothing too off-putting, at least for the amount of time it takes to chop an onion or two.

Overall, this is something I highly recommend if you are looking for a more premium set of goggles! Although our pool isn’t open yet, we did use them during a recent trip and she loved that they kept the water out and didn’t fog up much.

(Including changing out the nose bridge. The included instructions offered no info on the insert options, surprisingly, but let me know in at least two dozen languages that I could use alcohol to clean the inner and outer lens surface as well as just rub my fingers to clean it.
