I would get it on the high points of my wall and my room would feel stuffy and smell musty, it was VERY unpleasant so I knew I had to get a dehumidifier I just procrastinated because I assumed I would have to pay over £100 for a decent one and then have to sift through all the reviews to land on a final choice. It is really easy to set up and took about 2 minutes to get it up and running. I don't like opening windows because there's too many insects so I have a little vent on the windows and leave those open. Every now and then leave your door open to air it out too.

The media could not be loaded. It takes 4days to fill and my bedroom has never felt so fresh and cool! The unit itself is good looking, so doesn't stick out like a sore thumb in my kitchen and you have the option to have the light on or off to save power, as it's just for show. I have to say after buying this one, my problem has been pretty much resolved.

Does a perfect job. THEN I bought this dehumidifier because my room still had a musty smell and felt humid after waking up in the morning.

I was horrified to find mould in the bedroom so bought this straight away. I bought it in July and have had it on ever since which means I've worked it to the max and it performs brilliantly! Most of my furniture is Ikea so they all come covered in vinyl which is a good mould deflector but they all have a brown paper like wooden backing which mould thrives on so I painted all the backs of my drawers, wardrobe, cabinets.

I must note the steps I took to remedy the problem I was having. 99, a decent 1.
Very quiet. It’s been plugged in for about 48 hours, and already you can see the amount of water it has gathered. Firstly, I cleaned my walls and repainted my bedroom with a bathroom paint (the paints designed for bathrooms, I find they are better than kitchen paints, I recommend Wilko's brand) and that fixed the mould/mildew on my walls problem. 4lt size good enough for my double bedroom.
