The biggest being Avery described as difficult and having ADHD but refuses to take her meds and always gets her own way. ! Or is Avery still alive and he is telling the truth when he eventually admits he stormed out leaving her at home?

This is one of those books that you just have to keep reading to find out. Dr William Wooler is thrown under the bus pretty much from the start, with his affair costing him an alibi, plus the fact he was the last person to see daughter Avery.

Now I personally think this led to a few roadblocks, especially with her dad being a doctor and I would have preferred it if she had just been a brat. Fantastic plot. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Love Shari Lapena Did that hit result in her death and him getting rid of a body? A real page turner! Unfortunately that meeting resulted in him losing his temper and hitting her and then lying to police that he hadn’t been home because instead he had been getting jiggy with it in a motel with naughty neighbour Nora.

A perfect holiday book that I read within two days. So many plot twists and such a gripping read. The what, the why and the who being cleverly kept just out of reach. A fun read featuring a neighbourhood full of liars liars pants on fire, characters that aren’t entirely what they seem and an omg ending that will put a smile on your face.

I did have a couple of niggles that I kind of wish had been handled differently. But maybe that’s just me and my love of a little female psychopath in the making. Truly a book that as soon as you pick up you can’t put down .
