It could be improved the lid without plastic parts. * Compatible with Alexa* Boil the kettle anywhere using the Smart Life App* It shows the temperature in real time* It has 5 preset manual buttons if you don't wish to use the app or app. I already have the Smart Life App for other IOT devices around the house, I didn't read the manual because I am a man! but not worry because as soon as I powered the based and attached the kettle it automatically started to connect to the Smart Life App, I had to hit "yes" and "next" a few times and "hey presto" all connected.

! But then alexa sometimes does some weird stuff so is this a kettle fault or an alexa fault? I'm giving this 5 stars for this reason.

It was easy to set up. By 20:15 I was unboxed, connected and kettle from the App hence why I am so impressed. Perfect kettle does exactly what it says on the box keep ur water warm with the keep warm links to ur alexa device easily and takes two min to connect to ur wifi definitely a must for busy parents all u need is to say Alexa turn kettle on and two to three min later ur water is the perfect temp a must buy and for the price well worth it it’s definitely a bargain for the price

* Has 3 basic set features as "keep warm" & "baby bottle" and a timer. I tested by asking Alexa to switch on the kettle which she did, but as it was already hot it automatically switched itself off, so all set to go now! Early days so we'll see how we go, but in terms of set-up, no issues. The only gripe would be the length of the cable, I had to use an extension from the wall socket, double the length would have been ideal, otherwise top marks.
